🦉 The Owl Who Forgot “Who”
🦉 The Owl Who Forgot “Who”
Oscar the owl sat in a tree at night. He wanted to say his favorite word. But he forgot it. He opened his mouth and said, “What?” A bat flew by. “What what?” asked the bat. Oscar shook his head. “No, that is not right.” He tried again. “Why?” The bat said, “Why what?” Oscar tried again. “Where?” The bat said, “Where what why?” Oscar felt confused. “I forgot my owl word!” The bat thought for a moment. “Do you mean who?” Oscar gasped. “Who?” The bat smiled. “Yes, who.” Oscar said, “Who!” The bat said, “You!” Oscar said, “No, who!” The bat said, “Me?” Soon both animals were very confused. A squirrel woke up and shouted, “I am trying to sleep!” Oscar whispered, “Who?” The squirrel shouted, “You!” The bat laughed so hard he fell upside down, which was normal for him.
