Benny the bear visited Rabbit’s house. Rabbit had a small table, a small bed, and one tiny chair. Benny looked at the chair. “Can I sit there?” he asked. Rabbit said, “That chair is very small.” Benny smiled. “I can be very careful.” He slowly sat down. The chair made a small sound. Creeeak. Benny stopped. “Is the chair singing?” he asked. Rabbit shook his head. Then Benny sat a little more. CRACK! The chair broke into three pieces. Benny fell on the floor. Rabbit ran over. “Are you okay?” Benny looked at the broken chair. “I think your chair is tired,” he said. Rabbit said, “No, Benny. My chair is broken.” Benny felt bad. The next day, he brought Rabbit a new chair. It was huge. Rabbit climbed onto it with a ladder. “This is too big!” said Rabbit. Benny smiled. “Now we can both sit safely.”
