Freddy the frog had a tiny blue umbrella. It was raining, so Freddy opened it. “I am dry and fancy,” he said. Daisy the duck walked by. “Why do you need an umbrella?” asked Daisy. “You are a frog.” Freddy said, “It is not just for rain. It is for style.” Then Freddy jumped. Boing! The umbrella flew out of his hands. It landed on a turtle. The turtle looked up and said, “Oh, thank you. I have a roof now.” Freddy jumped again to get it. Splash! He landed in a big puddle. Now Freddy was wet from his eyes to his toes. Daisy laughed. “Your umbrella did not work.” Freddy stood up proudly. “It worked perfectly,” he said. “How?” asked Daisy. Freddy pointed to the turtle. “Now my friend has a roof, and I have a swimming pool.” The turtle said, “This is the best rainy day ever.”
